Upcoming EDM Festivals and Vinyl to Fit the Vibe

Festival season is here! To be fair, with how many various-genre festivals exist, the “season” really is all year round. Festivals in warmer weather just feel right, though. Endless iconic Electronic Dance Music festivals can keep your summer jam packed with music and dancing. Whether you already have tickets, or you’re still making some final decisions on what to attend, here are some of the most exciting upcoming EDM festivals and vinyl records that totally fit their vibe.

EDCLV – Electric Daisy Carnival (Las Vegas) May 19-21

If you’re heading to this one, we hope your bags are already packed! EDC is a treasured festival experience to the EDM community. Beginning in 1997 as a warehouse party in LA, it’s since been established as quite a household name festival. Not only does the festival take place in many cities nationwide, but it’s also grown into an international experience, bringing millions of fans all over the world together for weekends of peace, love, unity, and respect. One of the most unique parts of the experience in Las Vegas is it’s a dusk to dawn festival, meaning it starts in the evening and the music goes all through the night and into the following morning. It’s truly magical.

Drive (2023) by Tiesto

A fresh dance album by the legendary Tiesto is exactly what you need to get yourself pumped up for a long weekend of non-stop dancing. As someone who won’t be touring in the US this summer or fall, this is a can’t-miss set under the electric sky!

Automatic (2015) by Kaskade

Kaskade is one of those artists to be grateful to get the chance to see him live, especially when he spent so much time actually spinning vinyl. He’s a household name on the EDC LV lineup and an artist that completely captures the essence of the festival. He’d be an incredible artist to see at a sunrise set. Songs like “Disarm You” and “Day Trippin’” from Automatic really highlight that fun energy and need to dance!

ILLENIUM Trilogy: Colorado (Denver) June 17

While this event isn’t technically a festival, as it’s one night only, it is more than worth mentioning as the energy is top notch. This is ILLENIUM’S second time bringing a Trilogy experience to life. He debuted it in July of 2021 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and this time is bringing it to his hometown of Denver, Colorado. It’s a one-night event with three consecutive ILLENIUM sets! Support has yet to be announced.

ILLENIUM (2023) by ILLENIUM

Although his Trilogy events typically highlight ILLENIUM’S previous work, providing a night of nostalgia, it’s always fun to guess which songs he’ll share of his latest work, teasing what is to come in full for this album’s upcoming tour.

Electric Forest (Rothbury, MI) June 22-25

This is your chance to truly step out of the reality that constantly surrounds you and into one far more magical and immersive. Thanks to a man named Walter “Wally” Wojack who literally planted the trees in 1955 that now stand over 70 feet tall, we can enjoy the mystical, mind-altering grounds of the festival now known as Electric Forest. Even after attending this festival a handful of times, it’s still nearly impossible to do and see all that is offered. It’s a world of its own.

The Last Goodbye (2022) by Odesza

Luckily no actual last goodbye is necessary for the duo. After a four-year hiatus, they came back with an album to remind everyone exactly why they’re one of the best names in the scene (not that anyone could really forget, hiatus or not!) What better way to celebrate their long-awaited release of new music than doing so while immersed in the forest?

Untying the Not (2003) by The String Cheese Incident

If there is one thing for certain about the Electric Forest festival, it’s that The String Cheese Incident will be on the lineup. Not only will they be guaranteed on the lineup as they are essentially curators of the event, but they’ll be playing multiple sets, multiple days. They’re the perfect representation of the way Electric Forest so beautifully blends various genres of music and brings it all together in one place.

The music can and should continue before and after the events! Whether you’re camping or decided on a hotel or Air BNB, the music can come with you with our portable, rechargeable, Bluetooth RevolutionGO record player. If you snag any vinyl throughout your weekends of adventures, there’s no need to wait until getting home to enjoy. Maybe you’re looking for something just a bit more convenient to travel with? Our ultra-portable Music Edition 1 or tabletop Music Edition 2 premium Bluetooth speakers are the perfect fit for indoor or outdoor enjoyment. Keep the party going with non-stop music, even on the go!
