Introducing Victrola Soundstage™— A Low-Profile, Room-Filling Soundbase Designed to Sit Directly Below Turntables
America’s longest-operating record player brand unveils a vibration-isolated speaker at CES 2026 that delivers rich, full sound for turntables from a remarkably compact design.
LAS VEGAS, NV (Jan. 6, 2026) – Victrola, an iconic name in home audio for over a century, today announced the Victrola Soundstage™ , a soundbase designed to deliver high-fidelity performance for vinyl listeners from a compact, space-efficient design. Built to eliminate the need for separate speakers, amplifiers and other audio components, Soundstage provides class-leading bass output and refined detail from a sleek all-in-one design. With versatile wired and wireless connectivity, including Bluetooth® and Auracast™ , Soundstage works just as seamlessly with computers, TVs and other audio sources as it does with turntables.
As vinyl remains a growing part of today’s listening culture, listeners are reshaping where and how records are played. Whether it’s a primary listening space, a home office or a second system elsewhere in the home, many want better sound without committing to a traditional multi-component setup. Until now, that often meant choosing between performance and simplicity. Soundstage removes that compromise by delivering rich, engaging sound from a single speaker designed to integrate naturally beneath a turntable.
“Victrola has been building all-in-one listening systems for more than a century, and Soundstage is a natural evolution of that legacy, " said Scott Hagen, CEO of Victrola. “While vinyl records continue to resonate with a new and younger generation of enthusiastic listeners, not all of them want a big, complex hi-fi system. So in some respects, Soundstage is a return to form for us. It takes our DNA in making all-in-one consoles and modernizes it for the next generation. The result is a solution that effortlessly fills a room with great-sounding music, sits neatly under a turntable, plays music from a variety of other sources, and can even stream records throughout the house. ”
A New Foundation for Vinyl Playback
Soundstage is engineered from the ground up to isolate vibration without compromising sound quality, allowing the system to deliver impressive low-end performance and wide stereo imaging without disturbing the turntable. Victrola designed Soundstage as a fully integrated system, where cabinet architecture, driver placement and vibration control are carefully tuned to work together to protect playback integrity while maximizing sound quality. To achieve this balance, Soundstage delivers two core performance benefits through a carefully coordinated driver and enclosure design:
- Deep Bass Without Vibrations - The down-firing Symmetric Drive Woofer (SDW)™ features dual diaphragm technology that delivers powerful, accurate bass while canceling vibrations, keeping the turntable steady for smooth, uninterrupted vinyl performance.
- Immersive Stereo Sound - Balanced Mode Radiator (BMR)™ technology delivers exceptionally wide, even dispersion, creating a spacious, natural stereo image that stays clear and detailed anywhere in the room.
This approach and driver technology solve one of vinyl’s most persistent challenges: resonance. Typically, speakers vibrate, and when placed near a turntable they cause the stylus to move and create a feedback loop that introduces distortion and can harm sensitive turntable components during playback. Soundstage manages this by directing the most harmful low frequencies through the down-firing Symmetric Drive Woofer (SDW) and rear-facing ports, while using a low crossover point with the front-facing Balanced Mode Radiators (BMRs) to keep critical midrange and high frequencies projected forward for clarity, detail and accurate stereo imaging.
Soundstage supports Victrola’s modular approach to home listening, giving listeners the freedom to build a system that fits their room, budget, and listening style. Designed to complement and pair seamlessly with Victrola’s Wave™ and Automatic turntables, Soundstage also works effortlessly with a wide range of other turntables and audio sources. Whether paired with an entry-level record player or a premium turntable, Soundstage offers a flexible, future-ready path to better sound.
